Heat pumps
What are heat pumps?
Heat pumps are devices that have the ability to transfer (pump) energy from one medium to another.
A well-known heat pump is the air conditioner (air-to-air heat pump).
Heat pumps are very efficient machines (they are the only machines that have a higher degree of efficiency than the unit).
That is, for every KW they consume, they have the ability to deliver about four times the power.
The new heat pumps of MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC (air – water), have the ability to “steal” energy from the ambient air and transfer it to the water of central heating, or hot water. These heat pumps offer proven high savings in consumption, compared to conventional heating methods (oil – gas – resistors, etc.)
They can operate even at extremely low ambient temperatures (-25 degrees), without any particular reduction in efficiency.
They are completely ecological (Energy class A), help reduce carbon dioxide emissions, and offer very flexible solutions during installation.
They are ideal for support of central heating with underfloor system, but also installations with classic bodies
In the imposed season of renewable energy sources, making the best use of the energy that is inexhaustible and free in the environment throughout the year even on the coldest days of winter, our ecodan unit guarantees the comfort of heating and hot water. of our home in the most economical and environmentally friendly way.
By simply using a Mitsubishi Electric ecodan heat pump for space heating and hot water, we reduce the cost of space heating by saving up to 70% and at the same time CO2 emissions by 50%. Using heat pump technology that is widely used for heating and cooling in air conditioners, ecodan upgrades the energy in the environment and uses it to provide heating and hot water.
Heat pump technology has been used around the world for decades and Mitsubishi Electric has developed this technology to apply it to the production of ecodan, one of the most advanced and efficient heating systems available today. The ecodan unit operates with a high degree of COP efficiency consuming just 1 kW of electricity to produce 4 kW of heating or domestic hot water.
Regardless of the choice of ecodan unit (compact or split), Mitsubishi Electric guarantees its trouble-free operation even in extreme temperatures up to -25 C with ZUBADAN technology and stable performance up to -15 C without any assistance (electrical resistance, etc.).
